Port Salerno

34 nautical mile run to Port Salerno's Manatee Pocket (next to Stuart). Anchored at 1:52pm in 5 feet off Pirate's Cove Resort/Marina. 54F, sunny, winds 15W-NW. Ran between 4.8 to 5.5 knots at 1,400 rpm.

Pecan at anchor. In the background you can see Hinckley's Florida service center and a nice Nordhaven 47 at their docks.

Nice public dock 100 yards from our anchorage. We bought this year old 38 lb. 8 foot Achilles inflatable literally days before the leaving. Seems for our needs to work great so far and rowing today in a breeze wasn't hard just slow going. We pull it into the aft cockpit when underway and at night. Only drawback is loss of use of the cockpit when the dinghy occupies the spot and, of course, it dripping saltwater everywhere in the cockpit.

Pirate's Cove resort marina, with fleet of sportfisherman, at their docks. We had a bowl of french onion soup in the restaurant after partaking in a nice hot shower.
