Boca Raton

Visited Peanut Island in West Palm Beach (right at the Lake Worth ocean inlet) and Spanish River park on the way to Boca. Anchored along ICW at 4:50pm in 3.5 feet west of R"60" in Boca. Ran 29 nm. today.

Very nice floating day use docks on the west side of Peanut Island.


The replica of the Bounty is kept at Peanut Island for tours (and more?). There's camping on the island and were we able to learn the keypad security codes for the hot water showers, even if we took 'em mid-day.

This older condo was demo'd by explosives yesterday, as we learned. A lot of boats and news stations watched the spectacle.

Another interesting bridge; think this one is around Boynton Beach.
